“I moved to Haslemere in 2011 from London and was incredibly excited when I was recommended Lissy’s ‘Singing Kettles’ group, particularly as I’d found
nothing like her in London!
Lissy is an amazing teacher and has an enthusiasm and love for music that is infectious. I was desperate for my son to experience ‘real’ music from an early age. Lissy’s sessions are structured, fast moving and absolutely perfect for young children. For me, the most exciting thing is that Lissy creates her own music, nearly all her music is ‘live’ and the few times Lissy does use a CD she uses music written by established composers. My very special memory of Singing Kettles is Lissy’s wonderful use of Beethoven’s 6th Symphony as a farewell song for the children.
My son adored his weekly session with Lissy and the insight he has been given in to music is enduring. I strongly recommend Lissy’s ‘Singing Kettles’ as the perfect first step in your child’s musical life!”
